19 Ward Nerf Football League

TODAY is the deadline to register for the 19th Ward Youth Foundation's Nerf Football League. If your 3rd or 4th Grader is interested in playing this year, please visit our website at www.the19thward.com to sign up. The league is free to all 3rd and 4th grade boys and girls living in the 19th Ward. Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at Beverly Park and all participants receive a complimentary t-shirt jersey. The 12th annual Lights On Afterschool is October 20, 2011. Join 1 million Americans and 7,500+ communities nationwide in celebrating the afterschool programs that keep our kids safe, inspire them to learn and help working families. Win up to $5,000 in the Light Up a Landmark for Lights On Afterschool Contest!  We've seen the Empire State Building, LA's Lindbergh Beacon and Mt Rushmore lit up for Lights On Afterschool.
