Youth & Residential Services Division
Who We Are: In the division of Youth & Residential Services, we provide housing and case management services to boys and girls, infant through 17. Our program participants include unaccompanied minors, wards of the state, and other detained populations. We are proud to provide them with a structured, safe and friendly environment as we work to help reunite them with family, or otherwise move on to their next step. Our residential sites are located on the North and South sides of Chicago, and in the north suburbs.
The Transportation Specialist provides secure transportation of our program participants in an agency vehicle or on public transportation. This person ensures the safety of participants during transport, responds to on-call and short-notice assignments, and responds effectively to unexpected situations and crises, such as transportation delays, missed connections, and procedural failures. Transportation destinations are primarily in Chicago and the surrounding area, but will include out-of-state locations. The needs of our participants are dynamic so this person must be extremely flexible in regard to hours of work, which will include evening, early morning and weekend hours.
Our programs and young participants are inspiring – consider joining us in our mission to create lasting, meaningful change in their lives!
