We need to stand together as a united group. Just last week in our community Nancy Rojo was shot and killed by her husband, Alexander Rojo, near the corner of Sheridan and Granville in the Edgewater neighborhood on Monday, October 11 at 3:20 in the afternoon. He then sat on the curb and shot himself in the head. Both were pronounced dead shortly after at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
Please join Centro Romero, Between Friends and other community members to march against domestic violence. We will be passing out purple ribbons to wear in remembrance of Nancy Rojo. This is a family friendly event.
