Building Roads to Intellectual Diversity and Great Education (B.R.I.D.G.E.) @ Wheaton College

Greetings from Wheaton College! I am excited to announce that the Building Roads to Intellectual Diversity and Great Education (B.R.I.D.G.E.) Program at Wheaton College (in Illinois) is now accepting applications and nominations for our Summer 2011 program. This summer the program will take place June 27-July 23, 2011.

B.R.I.D.G.E. is a four-week residential academic and leadership program for Chicago area high school students who are currently sophomores (will be Juniors in 2010-2011).  The program is FREE. To qualify students must demonstrate a commitment to Christian faith and meet at least one of the following criteria: first-generation college bound, low-income, African American or Latino. The program is a great opportunity for your students to experience college, develop their leadership skills, receive ACT tutoring, and mentorship through the college application process.

Please visit our website to learn more about the program, nominate students and download applications for your students: http://www.wheaton.edu/admissions/UndGrad/bridge/index.htm.
The nomination deadline is Monday, January 31, 2011. The application deadline is March 1, 2011.

Please forward this email to anyone else who may be interested in learning about this great opportunity.

I look forward to hearing from you!
