Bullying Prevention and Bystander Intervention Workshop

This workshop will discuss the causes and realities of bullying, as well as best practices for adults to intervene and prevent bullying. Additionally, the role of the bystander in bullying prevention will be discussed. This includes how to encourage youth to safety and effectively intervene in bullying situations and how to build a climate that rejects bullying and aggressive behavior. Elena Font-Calafell is the Best Practices Institute Director at the Illinois Center for Violence Prevention.
