Chicago State University and Chicago Public Schools are redefining partnership and vision with you in mind. High school seniors can start their college career this spring at Chicago State University by registering today for a FREE class at Chicago State University. Classes start February 7th.
Program Description:
CPS seniors may take a one of two courses at Chicago State University for FREE this spring and could be eligible to receive dual credit as determined by the student’s high school criteria and the successful completion of the CSU course. The total investment in each student who participates in this program is $1,136.00!
Program Criteria:
In order to receive the free college course, CPS seniors must commit to enroll full time for the Fall 2011 Term, have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a four-point scale and a minimum ACT score of 19.

ü Complete and submit a CSU Undergraduate at Large application:
Undergraduate-at-Large: If you are not seeking a degree from Chicago State University at this time, you will need to utilize the Undergraduate-at-Large Application. Be sure to read the instructions completely and thoroughly.
ü Submit your official high school transcripts to the office of admissions.
ü Submit your official ACT scores to the office of admissions.
ü Take your placement examinations.
ü Have parents complete the parental consent form.
ü Register for classes (Office of Admissions will communicate process)
ü Complete the Dual Enrollment Orientation and Tour (Date and Time TBD)
