100 Cars for Good Program

We are reaching out to non-profit organizations all across the country with an invitation to participate in an exciting new Toyota program called ‘100 Cars for Good.’  Could your organization use a new Toyota vehicle to help fulfill your charitable mission?
Toyota believes that motor vehicles, and the mobility they provide, contribute to the betterment of society.  A reliable set of wheels can be particularly impactful in enhancing the good works of charitable organizations like yours in communities across the United States.
Toyota will donate 100 cars in 100 days to 100 deserving non-profit organizations.  But we’re not deciding who wins these vehicles…we’re letting members of the community, including your supporters, direct our giving!
Here’s how it will work.  Beginning May 9th, each day for 100 days, 5 different non-profit organizations will compete for votes from the general public on Facebook.  The organization with the most votes at the end of the day will be awarded a Toyota vehicle.  The four runner-up organizations each day will be given a consolation prize of $1,000.
From the pool of applications received, 500 non-profits will be selected by an independent panel of experts in the field of philanthropy.  Once selected, these organizations will be notified, assigned their voting day, and asked to submit a profile, including a short video detailing how they will use a Toyota vehicle ‘for good.’ (See http://www.facebook.com/toyota for complete participation terms.)
Applications will be accepted on the Toyota USA Facebook page beginning at noon Pacific time on March 7th.  Don’t delay, because we are only accepting applications until noon on March 21st, or until the first 5,000 applications are submitted, whichever comes first.
If you are interested in applying to participate in this exciting program, go to http://www.facebook.com/toyota on March 7th, click on ‘100 Cars for Good,’ and submit an application.
Good luck!
The Toyota ‘100 Cars for Good’ Team
