Great opportunity at Illinois Institute of Technology
Generously supported by a grant from the Boeing Company, the Boeing
Scholars cademy at Illinois Institute of Technology is a free, year-round
educational nrichment program that offers up to 100 high-achieving,
Chicago-area juniors nd seniors (students who are now completing grades 10
and 11) per year the pportunity to immerse themselves in academic and
hands-on experiences in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics), as well as architecture, business, psychology, and computer
science.
The academy provides summer programming; workshops, seminars, and field
trips during the school year; college and career advising; and leadership
skills training and grant competitions. The 2011 Summer Session will run
weekdays Monday, June 27-Friday, July 22 (excluding the July 4th holiday),
and will focus its interdisciplinary programming on the theme "Cities of

In order to participate in the 2011-2012 Boeing Scholars Academy, students
