PI Listening Meetings

Please join us for a one hour "listening" meeting on either
March 28 or 29 at 1:00 p.m. (RSVP for one or both.)

The purpose of the meeting is to hear from agencies who have participated in the Chicago Out-of-School Time Project Program Improvement (Pi) process. It is very important at this stage of the initiative to know about your experience and needs.
You do all the talking.  We’ll be listening (and taking notes!)

This meeting is open to any and all staff from a community based organization who have been a part of Pi (i.e. part of the pilot; had an external assessment; attend Managers Round Table meetings; conducted an internal assessment; went to a Methods training workshop etc. etc.)  This is definitely a good meeting for Executive Directors to attend. Please plan to attend or make sure someone from you site attends.
In prep for the meeting:
Think about . . . What are you valuing?  What do you want to see more of?  What do you want to see different?  What are your basic agency operational needs? What are your agency long term interests? Where do we need to go next as a collective?  Should the stakes change within your agency or collectively? Where does data intersect re: your needs and interests?
Examples . . . Develop a one page site visit tool for program coordinators that supports the YPQA tool; Continue Managers Round Table Discussions; Get more info about impact of managers involvement; Coordinate Citywide symposiums; Train more staff to become trainers for Methods;  Develop a model for multi-site agencies; More information on national trends; connect better w/ "parent" organization i.e. YMCA, B&GCA
Process - We will listen for one hour and prod if necessary; We will try to divide time btwn operational interests and "big" picture vision, but be flexible; Heidi and Alicia will take notes and prepare a summary to be shared at a later date.
Questions - e-mail or call Sally Csontos, Pi Lead - 312.925-6494 sacsontos@sbcglobal.net
