FY 11 Choose Respect Illinois Grant Program

The RFP for the FY 11 Choose Respect Illinois grant is available on the IVPA website (www.ivpa.org). Not-for-profit corporations, government entities or tax exempt organizations are eligible to apply for 12.5 month grants (June 15, 2011- June 30, 2013) for up to $20,000 to implement the Choose Respect Illinois grant program. The lead applicant must be a youth serving organization with an existing violence prevention program in Illinois. Choose Respect communities that received funding in FY 08, FY 09 and FY 10 are not eligible to apply.

IVPA will host a Bidders Conference Call on May 2nd at 3:00 pm. The Bidders Conference will provide participants with an overview of the Choose Respect Illinois Grant Program, the RFP and budget requirements. The Bidders Conference is not mandatory, but it is recommended for organizations interested in applying for the grant. Please see the RFP for details.
