Dear Colleague,
Communities across America are discussing how they can best achieve goals related to youth and education. A handful of cities, such as Louisville, Boston and Grand Rapids, have begun to take action and get results with the support of nFocus Software. To provide local leaders with a better understanding about how to connect and mobilize community resources to track and manage change over time, it is my pleasure to invite you to our 2nd Annual Communities for Change Symposium in Louisville August 3-5, 2011. This three-day symposium is designed to bring together community advocates, business and nonprofit leaders, policymakers, local government officials, and school administrators in a dialogue about using management information systems to create community change.
The event is being hosted by nFocus Software in partnership with Metro United Way, Jefferson County Public Schools and the City of Louisville. nFocus is the only company in the U.S. and Canada addressing these issues through community-wide deployments that aggregate data at the individual and community levels. Our host city, Louisville, has been highlighted by national organizations like RAND, The Forum for Youth Investment, America's Promise Alliance and others for its groundbreaking work creating comprehensive support systems that link schools and community efforts.
Please join us to:
· Discover how leaders and program practitioners are using data to improve program quality and connect support services for youth · Learn how to apply data management to improve community services and share progress · Hear from distinguished experts about best practices and tools for collective impact · Develop a community team to collaborate on how to drive efforts to improve outcomes
As a community leader driving change, I encourage you to attend this event dedicated to celebrating our successes and better understanding the challenges before us.
We look forward to seeing you in Louisville!
