Psychological First Aid and Take Ten: A Violence Prevention Strategy Bundle Thursday, May 19th, 2011 9:00am - 1:00pm Location: 70 East Lake St., Suite 720 Chicago, IL 60601 � � Join us as the Chicago Department of Public Health Office of Violence Prevention offers an innovative violence prevention "bundle" training. This session will have two parts. The first will be Psychological First Aid for Communities where participants will learn practical ways of providing immediate help after a potentially traumatic event in the community. This session focuses on how to help young children begin the healing process. The morning will conclude with a presentation about TAKE TEN! TALK IT OUT, WALK IT OUT, WAIT IT OUT! TAKE TEN is a violence prevention concept that has been used to acknowledge alternatives to violence in the ways we express emotion and solve problems. �
