For Levels 1 and 2, The Season begins July 6 and runs through the end of July. Every Mon and Wed, 2 Fridays; games begin at 6:30pm, Kennedy Park, 113th S. Western Ave. The schedule for the first 2 evenings will be posted on Facebook Tap22 June 25.
As always at these levels, volunteer umpires give of their time to keep costs low. No adult coaching, the kids coach themselves. We do encourage you to come up to the park and practice during June!
Level 3: ages 18-35, the season begins July 13 and runs 3-4 weeks, Monroe Park, 105th and Rockwell, Tues. Wed. 1 friday. These umpires are paid. Yes, if you are 17, you can play at both levels 2 and 3; I will work the schedule around your other games. Early registration for Level 3 runs through June 10, same $$$. ($240 after June 10).
if you look on facebook tap22, there are many photos of the softball program from previous years. most future info regarding this league will be posted there. please check or designate a player from your team to check regularly (rainouts, schedules, changes...)
*players do NOT have to be from the same school-sisters and brothers and cousins often play together from other areas....
*what needs to happen is for you, or a friend, to collect the money and give it to me in one lump sum, give me color and sizes, and collect the money from your friends.

1) 12 person roster (encouraged to get 15), must have at least 4 girls and 4 boys on the roster; (if you want 15 players, $150 by june 1)
2) you are welcome to come up to the park anytime a field is open and practice. if you want to reserve a field, call jenifer cronin at kp (312-747-6198)
our sponsors, cover the chicago park district fees and the prizes to charities. we are still looking for 2 sponsors...so, if your parents have a business that would like to help out, please have them call me (773-425-6048)
3) you can sub a few players a game for the first 3-4 games without penalty. you need at least 3 girls on the field each game.
4) continuous batting order; equal playing time; rotate positions (different pitchers for different innings or games....give everyone a shot!)
