Check the Method Spoken Word Summer camp

YCA's annual spoken word summer camp, Check the Method, is now taking applications for its 2011 session. The camp, which is led by Kevin Coval, is open to writers 15-21, runs for one week at the end of July, and culminates in a performance by the students. In addition, this year YCA will be hosting a second session - it will for teachers and coaches of performance poetry, community leaders who are not unlike yourself.
