What: During the summer take a closer look at the ecology of prairies, woodlands, and wetlands. Learn about the plants and animals in these ecosystems, their adaptations and interactions, and how an ecosystem responds to changes. Discover how to integrate the Midwest ecosystems into your classroom with hands-on activities and a place-based education approach. Additional fall and winter reconvene meetings are required and Musuem educators will assist you in implementing a Midwest Ecosystem curriculum in your classroom. Receive up to 37 CPDUs, 2 graduate credits, 2 CPS Lane credits, $125 towards a bus to the Museum, and $120 stipend.
