19h Ward happenings....

This evening, the 19th Ward Youth Foundation will host an outdoor screening of Shrek the Third at Sutherland School. Please joing us for our final movie this year. The film will begin at dusk.  

Tomorrow, September 17th, Midwest Document Destruction and I will co-host a free paper shredding event from 9:00am - 11:00am at the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, 3857 W. 111th Street. In order to be shredded, all papers must be unbound; staples or other binding items will not go through the shredder. This service is provided free of charge but residents are encouraged to come early. 

The second annual Mt Greenwood Family Fun Run benefiting the Mt Greenwood Park Special Recreation Program is also this Saturday. Mt Greenwood Special Rec has been providing opportunities to children and adults with special needs for over 20 years. Registration is available online at www.the19thward.com for $30.

This Sunday, September 18th the Mount Greenwood Chamber of Commerce will host "Taste of Mt. Greenwood" at the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences from 11am - 5pm.
