Saint Xavier University will host the Sixth Annual “Breakfast With Your Legislators” event where SXU students, faculty and the surrounding community can meet Chicagoland elected officials.
Where: The Butler Reception Room, located in the Warde Academic Center at Saint Xavier University’s Chicago campus, 3700 W. 103rd St.
When: This networking event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 15. Registration and networking begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by breakfast and the program at 8 a.m.
Why: Elected officials seek to meet with the
community as well as SXU faculty and staff. They will provide a brief
overview of their respective districts and the various issues they face,
followed by a Q & A from the audience.
Who: Chicagoland elected officials, including the following: State Sen. Edward Maloney (D-18th), State Rep. Kelly Burke (D-36th), State Rep. Bill Cunningham (D-35th), Cook County Commissioner John Daley (D-11th), Cook County Commissioner Joan Murphy (D-6th), Cook County Commissioner Liz Gorman (R-17th) and Chicago Ald. Matt O’Shea (19th).
