Lawrence Hall Youth
Services is a reputable, first-rate child welfare agency that has been
providing services to at-risk children and their families for over 145
years! We provide care through residential treatment, education, foster
care and older adolescent programs. The Balanced and Restorative Justice
(BARJ) Coordinator assists in coordination, planning, implementation, and
facilitation of various BARJ programming including
but not limited to Peer Conference, Peace Circles, Accountability Council, and
Youth Advisory Committee. Requires
excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Position requirements:
· At least 21 years of age
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Prior knowledge and/or experience with BARJ philosophy
required
· Knowledge of word processing and basic computer
functions; intermediate to advanced level of computer skills required
· Maintenance of a valid Illinois driver's license with
no suspensions in effect in the previous three (3) years prior to hire
· Ability to pass background clearance and drug screening
· Ability to work effectively with clients/staff of
diverse cultural, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds
· Ability to utilize verbal and physical
intervention. Physical intervention requires the ability to kneel and
return to standing without assistance
· Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
