Saturday September 17,
2011, The Concerned Christian Men, Inc. (CCM) is
sponsoring The Man-Boy Breakfast CXXXVIII at Simeon Career Academy, 8147 S. Vincennes Our speaker is Sidney
Green, 1983 1st round selection of the Chicago Bulls as an
All-American from UNLV. A 10-year veteran in the NBA the 6’9”power forward
currently works with the Chicago Bulls in community relations. The CCM has sponsored one hundred
thirty-eight breakfasts that have featured outstanding African-American men from
the business, education, political, legal, athletic, multi-media and religious
communities. The breakfast begins promptly at 9:00 am and ends at 1:15 pm. Every breakfast the men supervise
spirited athletic competition in basketball, flag football, etc. We welcome all
men 18 and over ($5 donation) and young men 6-17 (free) to attend this Saturday
morning tradition. If you can charter a bus for your boys it would be a great
investment, if not, please inform all interested parties with our flyer
(enclosed). The SCAPS points accrue at each breakfast. We want all schools
to attend every breakfast. We
are celebrating sixteen years of service to African-American youths.
