Bringing Our A-Game to Out of School Time Programs

Grab your gym shoes and join Girls in the Game for an interactive workshop like you’ve never attended before.

Fee: $25 per person

Space is limited to 25 attendees


The Game Plan: twenty-five attendees will meet, exchange strategies and learn current best practices in serving youth during out of school time programming. Everyone will leave with concrete tools and resources.

Topic areas for this workshop include:

Setting the Program up for Success
Assessing our own attitudes and behaviors that enable us to be builders of youth development

Leading the Program
Learn how to create a welcoming environment, develop routines, manage challenging behavior and help youth make positive choices, engage resistant youth, and utilize retention strategies.

Evaluating Program Effectiveness
Learn how to develop goals and objectives, select a tool and lead the evaluation, present findings and implement changes.
