Join the Illinois Center for Violence Prevention our November workshop:

Empowering the Bystander

When:

In this workshop, individuals will learn about the causes and realities of bullying, as well as best practices for adult interventions and prevention.

Participants will:
  • Understand and define bullying
  • Understand the different types and roles of bystanders
  • Learn successful adult interventions to stop a bullying situation
  • Understand why bystanders may not respond
  • Learn three different approaches for bystanders to act positively

Fees are as follows:  $40 for members and $50 for non-members.  CEU's are available for an additional $15.
