LGBT Metro-Chicago Community Needs Assessment

The LGBT Community Fund of The Chicago Community Trust and theMorten Group are launching a major LGBT Community Needs Assessment for the Chicago area.
The newly-established LGBT Community Fund's mission is to encourage philanthropy among members of the LGBT community, corporate entities and private individuals, as well as to support nonprofit organizations and programs that better the lives of LGBT individuals and families in the Chicago area. Morten Group is a consulting firm specializing in social change through skills development, public policy and advocacy.

Why is the needs assessment being done?
The Steering Committee of The LGBT Community Fund of The Chicago Community Trust is seeking information on the needs of and issues facing the community in order to allocate funding in a way that effectively meets those needs.

Who should fill out the online survey?
Individuals residing in the Chicagoland area who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender are welcome to fill out the online survey.  They especially need to hear from communities on the far South and West Sides, communities of color, and low-income communities.
