Cuts to prevention funding still moving forward

December 12th, 2011
In less than one working day, over three hundred prevention advocates added their names to our sign-on letter telling Congress to reject a 2/3's cut to prevention funding.
We're sending that letter out today, but it's not too late for you to get involved. In fact, we need your voice now more than ever. Some members of congress are saying there is bipartisan support for cutting prevention funding--they need to hear, loud and clear, that their constituents across the country want prevention, and that prevention funding makes our health care system stronger. Will you take a moment and call or email your House and Senate members and tell them you're counting on them to support prevention funding? We've made it easy, with a short letter that you can send with just one click or use for talking points during your call. It will take you just two minutes, but it could make all the difference in protecting this critical and unique funding.
