Summer Hours Begin at MSI: Chicago

Take a break from the rain (or heat) this long holiday weekend and try your hand at some cool science experiences. We're kicking off summer with extended hours -- today through Labor Day, we're open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day.

We're also offering special evening hours for BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life this weekend. BODY WORLDS is open until 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with last exhibit entry at 5:45 p.m. Please note the rest of the Museum will close at 5:30 p.m. Buy your tickets online to make sure you can see BODY WORLDS

We're adding an amazing new plastinated specimen from BODY WORLDS ... an 18-foot-tall giraffe! It'll be on display in the Entry Hall by Monday. Come check it out!

We're looking for the next great teen designer to help us build a mobile app. Teens entering MSI's Summer App Challenge also can win a $250 Amazon gift card.

On this Memorial Day weekend, we recognize those who risk their lives protecting others. Every day, MSI offers free general admission to active military personnel, Chicago firefighters and Chicago police officers. Just show a current ID at our ticketing counters. And thank you!
