This workshop will review the best practice of working with youth and families as it intersects with the law, and an agency's legal responsibilities. There will be information and discussion at all levels of agency's contact with youth - from crisis intervention, to family reunification, to Minors Requiring Authoritative Intervention (MRAI), and a section about Rights of Minors includes abortion, counseling, temporary living arrangements, etc. A special section will focus on court procedures and how to testify in court.
