New Medical Course To Be Offered at Casa Central Casa Central has opened its new phlebotomy course this summer and is now accepting applications. A phlebotomist draws blood from a patient for either lab testing or transfusions. Orientation for course candidates will be held at 10 a.m. each Tuesday in September at Casa Central, 1335 N. California Ave. in Chicago. Certain requirements apply; tuition expenses are covered by the program and bilingual candidates are encouraged to register.
