Join the Illinois Center for Violence Prevention our November workshop: Effective Programs and Approaches to Youth Violence Prevention When: Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011 9:30am-1:00pm Where: 70 E Lake Street Suite 720 Chicago, IL 60601 This workshop will introduce participants to theoretical approaches and best practices in violence prevention.  Based on research, common themes in effective and ineffective violence prevention will be discussed.  Participants will learn about what constitutes best practices, ineffective programs and will also practice using available resources and tools to help identify evidence-based programs for their target population.
