The final public hearing on
Chicago's 2011 redistricting process will be held on Thursday, November 17th
from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm in the City Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor of City
Hall, 121 N. LaSalle St. This will be our community's last opportunity to offer
public input on our ward boundaries before a new map is proposed. I am asking
all concerned 19th Ward residents to join me at this hearing and show support
for maintaining our boundaries.
Diversity is one of the 19th
Ward's greatest strengths; our residents are proud to live in one of the few
truly integrated communities in Chicago. I pledge to continue to fight to
protect the boundaries of the Beverly, Morgan Park and Mt. Greenwood
communities.
Please join me
on Thursday for this important public hearing and make your voice heard.
For more information, please contact me at (773) 238-8766 or ward19@cityofchicago.org.
Thank you,

Matthew J. O'Shea
Alderman, 19th Ward
