Taste of Charity Food & Clothing Drive - Avalon Park

Please join us in our efforts to help those in need by bringing both nonperishable food, personal hygiene items and/or clothing articles to 1249 E. 87th Street on Sunday, November 20, 2011. This event will take place from 12-5pm.

This year, these items will be donated to You Can Make It Shelter for Women and Children, and Su Casa Catholic Worker. Items that cannot be housed will be donated to families across the city for the upcoming holiday.

Additional help is needed in the areas of decorating, passing flyers, door to door collections, and packing.

Students and community volunteers are welcome!
I look forward to seeing participation from our Chicago family as well as surrounding business in the Avalon/Chatham areas!
